Booking & Cancellations
How do I secure my booking with Simon Escapes?
A one-third non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking (if booked more than 8 weeks ahead). Full payment and security deposit are due 8 weeks before arrival.
What security deposit is required?
£2,000 (€2,000 for Sa Llupia) for Europe, and $10,000 for US & Caribbean properties. Fully refundable if no damage occurs.
What payment methods are accepted?
Full payment details will be provided during booking. International payments are accepted. Contact our team for any questions regarding payment methods.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be submitted in writing. If we can re-let the property, partial refunds may be available minus an admin fee. Otherwise, the full balance remains payable.
Can I change my booking dates?
Yes, but requests must be made at least 8 weeks before arrival and are subject to availability.
Should I purchase cancellation insurance?
Yes. We strongly recommend all clients take out travel insurance to protect their booking.
Arrival & Departure
In Europe: check-in at 4 PM, check-out at 10 AM. For US & Caribbean: times are confirmed at booking. Early check-in/late check-out may be possible depending on availability.
Occupancy & House Rules
How many guests can stay in the villa?
The maximum occupancy is specified on the booking form and must not be exceeded.
Can I host events or parties?
Properties are for personal use only. Parties or commercial events require written permission.
Are pets allowed?
No pets are permitted at any of Simon Escapes’.
Can I smoke in the villa?
No. All properties have a strict no-smoking policy.
Are there any noise restrictions?
Yes. We kindly request guests to keep noise levels low, especially late at night or early morning to respect neighbors.
What happens if damage occurs?
Any damages or excessive cleaning will be deducted from your security deposit. Costs exceeding the deposit will be charged separately.
Do I need to clean appliances after use?
Yes. BBQs, cookers, and appliances must be cleaned after use to avoid extra cleaning charges.
What if something breaks during my stay?
Report any breakages as soon as possible to allow us time for repair or replacement.
Safety, Children, & Legal
Are Simon Escapes villas child-friendly?
Yes. Cots and highchairs are available. Parents are fully responsible for supervising children, especially near pools, balconies, or staircases.
Can children use the sauna or steam room?
Children under 16 are not permitted to use any sauna or steam room facilities by law.
What law governs my booking?
All bookings fall under the laws of England and Wales, regardless of property location.
Does Simon Escapes offer insurance?
No. We recommend you take out appropriate travel insurance to cover cancellation, personal liability, and emergencies.
Is Simon Escapes liable for accidents?
Simon Escapes is not liable for any accident, damage, or injury that occurs during your stay.
